CSA 29 has two beautiful parks in Lucerne Valley.
Pioneer Park has beautiful old growth tress, thick rich grass and a rose garden. A Cabana is there complete with picnic tables and barbecue grills nearby. Children enjoy the playground and the baseball field. When Little League is playing the Snack Shack is sure to be open. There are tennis courts, basketball courts and the skateboard park. Come and enjoy a great day with us at Pioneer Park!
This year the park was alive with our Independence Day Celebration, RED, WHITE AND BOOM! www.csa29.com
Pioneer Park and Community Center also hosts the yearly Halloween Teen Scream and Haunted House.
The second is Midway Park and Arena at 34824 Rabbit Springs Road. This Park was originally the first School and then Post Office in Lucerne Valley. Now it is one of the top notch horseman's facilities in the area. Along with a great arena a large barn, bleachers and paddocks provide everything you need for a great equestrian event. The park also has large shade trees and grass to enjoy a picnic with your family.
The CSA 29 also maintains the Translator Tower on Rabbit Springs Road. Bringing network television stations and other stations on several UHF channels. It also receives VHF signals and modifies them for Lucerne Valley residents to watch in their homes.
The Lucerne Valley Memorial Park is also under their jurisdiction. The park has recently had several additions. The new section was opened in 2008. A 50 foot copper topped Gazebo with benches was built and dedicated in 2009 and new restroom facilities will be done by Fall 2010.
